Watermelon Freshie



Watermelon Freshie

Makes: 2 drinks
Takes: 2 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 350 g Watermelon, fresh and frozen
  • 30 g Simple syrup
  • 20 g Lemon juice
  • 3-4 Mint leaves
  • 1 can club soda or 350 ml sparkling water
Method:
  1. In a blender or smoothie maker, combine first four ingredients. I usually add half frozen and half fresh or thawed watermelon. Blend until smooth and pour into two glasses, filling half way. 
  2. Top watermelon mix with soda water. 
Enjoy! 

Notes:

If you like, you can add a shot or two of gin or vodka, a splash of white wine, or sparkling white wine and skip the sparkling water all together.
